Mistral cable del Pacífico

Mistral

The Pacific cable Mistral is the first subsea cable system since 2001 to connect Puerto San José (Guatemala) with Valparaíso (Chile), with additional landing points in Salinas (Ecuador), Lurín (Peru) and Arica (Chile).

The Pacific cable Mistral, a project in which Telxius is collaborating with América Móvil, has a potential capacity of 132 Tbps combined with the lowest latency available between Guatemala and Chile. As a result, the 7,300 km cable serves the entire Pacific coast of South America with the highest levels of service, reliability and security.

This cable is part of the ongoing commitment of the two largest telecommunication groups in Latin America to improve global communications and is now ready for service.
